Get to Know Us
My name is Ana Pilar Aspuru. I came up with the idea to spread up-to-date information on Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention for several reasons actually. First off, at a young age my mother was diagnosed with Stage III Breast Cancer. My mother's fight against Breast Cancer wasn't just her fight, but a fight that our whole family undertook. Although my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, it took a toll on everyone who loves and supports her. Additionally, my grandmother had Breast Cancer and my aunt was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2018 and is now cancer free.
As Breast Cancer has been a prevalent factor in my life, I have always tried to stay current with the research studies and advancements. Especially since I have a family history of Breast Cancer, it's important for me to take preventative measures. Furthermore, I aspire to become a physician, thus, helping others lead happy and healthy lives is a passion of mine. Lastly, a professor who challenged the class to create a website for something they felt passionate about is what gave the final push towards this mission I have now embarked on.

Our Mission
Although Breast Cancer has a high survival rate, many people are still being diagnosed with it.
Thus, our mission is to provide the most current and accurate information on research studies, medical advancements, treatments, preventative measures, and more to people of all ages, ethnicities, and races.
Our Vision
Make accurate and current Breast Cancer Awareness and Preventative Measures known globally to prevent people being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the first place.
